Agricultural Sciences

Agricultural Sciences offers a general degree in Agricultural Sciences and degrees with majors in Agronomy, Animal Science Pre-Veterinary Science, Animal Science – Industry, Entomology, and Veterinary Technology. Students receive rigorous interdisciplinary science training to prepares them to skillfully contribute to the food and agricultural sector – the largest in our economy, with faster-than-average job growth for agricultural scientists through 2028, according to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics. The general degree program includes courses in all of the majors, with two selected concentrations. Concentration areas may be from each of the majors offered by the College, and areas outside of the degree area are also considered. Employment opportunities for graduates are plentiful, and they may also pursue graduate or professional studies.
